LGCS has the unique privilege of being located on a historic 5 acre, farm setting with corn mazes, pumpkin patch, gardens, and animal encounters. All are available for children to explore and experience. We have also partnered with the University of Illinois Extension 4H program to enhance our educational offerings and resources for our “farm school”.
Children have ample room to explore nature and develop their gross (large) motor skills. Below are some benefits published by Sandford Health Research.
We have kept the historic farm setting.
LGCS is excited to be offering 4H programs this year.
Children have the opportunity to explore
our corn maze.
There is plenty of room for the children to run and play in a safe and fenced in playground.
Adventures in the pumpkin patch and outdoor painting are some of the fun activities the students will encounter.
Students have the opportunity to meet some of our furry friends with our programs.
