Children are so proud of themselves when they can be independent. Self-sufficiency is a great skill to develop and the #1 request from Kindergarten teachers. Everyone seems to lead busy lives these days. It is easy to get caught up in the moment and to do some of theses tasks for your child. But, a little extra time at home while your child masters these skills will help them adjust with confidence to school.
